I would read the same scriptures again and again and God would show me SO many things that had never occurred to me the previous times I read. I was beginning to understand how God spoke to me through His written word!

If you’re delving into the bible for the first time, I want to encourage you to stick with it. Even when you’re confused, frustrated, and lacking understanding. Spiritual growth takes time and He is eager to impart wisdom to you. And He is so happy that you’re seeking a relationship with Him through His word.

1. John 3:16-17

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

This verse beautifully summarizes the gospel message and the depth of love God has for mankind. God loves us so much that He sent His one and only Son Jesus to die for us on the cross. Without Jesus we would have died in our sins… But we will be saved if we put our faith in His saving grace.

Romans 8:28

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

There’s no doubt that we will face seasons of hardship on our journey of faith. But God promises to work all things together for our good, even when we don’t understand. God stands outside of time and can see our past, present, and future all at once. Final Thoughts:

The greatest thing I’ve ever done is give my life to God and put my faith in Jesus Christ. I have experienced the deepest love walking with God and I can live every day in joy knowing that I am His daughter and He loves me. I encourage you to diligently seek Him every day… Searching God’s word, regularly praying, and loving people like Jesus did.
