This post is a collection of bible verses to help mothers through their journey of grief.
Dear Sweet Mother,
If you’re currently experiencing the loss of a child…I’m so sorry. Losing your son or daughter is one of the most incomparably painful, complicated, and heart-wrenching things to endure in life. And there is absolutely nothing that can prepare us for the death of a loved one.
The best thing you can do is trust God and lean on His promises during this difficult time. Sometimes we can’t know why things in life happen a certain way. But one thing’s for sure…That God is near to you, always. His way is always higher than our own, even when we can’t understand how His plan works for our good.
One thing that brings me a lot of comfort during difficult times, is knowing that God understands exactly how we’re feeling. Jesus not only came to die for our sins, but to feel every emotion we have to face as humans.
Processing grief is a difficult journey, but you can take comfort in knowing that God is taking every step with you. One day, there will be no more tears, no more pain and you will be in God’s loving comfort forever and ever. God is with us in our day of trouble and is our living hope when all hope seems lost.
This article is written to be a collection of Bible verses chosen to provide words of comfort, love, and support to grieving mothers. I pray these verses will serve to be a shining light in the darkness you’re experiencing. And a reminder of the God of all comfort’s ever-present love and faithfulness to you. Let the power of the holy spirit comfort you.
