Bible Verses For Overcoming Depression
There’s no denying that life can be SO HARD at times. Depression is a challenging battle many of us have to face at one point or another during our lives. It is a tactic the enemy loves to implore to instill fear in our hearts where God desires to give us peace. We must always remember that faith and fear cannot coexist.
Satan’s major objective is to convince you to turn away from fellowship with God by whatever means necessary. So never let him win by allowing you to think that you’re insignificant. God woke you up again today. He breathed breath in your lungs and still has a plan for your life. He only created one YOU for a reason.
It’s often during our lowest points, that God is the closest to us. And it’s during these seasons that God can teach us to rely on Him in ways we might have otherwise not. When we’re lost in the darkness, light shines the brightest to bring us home to the peace only Jesus can provide.
If you’re feeling depressed, I hope these bible verses will give you some comfort. God is pure light and love, and He is stronger than any battle you’re currently facing. All you need to do is have faith in who He is, and the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.
I love you brothers and sisters in Christ and I’m praying that God will lead you out of this season of depression.
