The Music you Listen to Affects you More than you Think
Everything this brother said was so true.
Before I became a disciple and God redirected my path, all I wanted was to become a famous musical artist. And I came extremely close to that goal, but was woken up to the dark and evil realities of the music industry by the grace of God.
Looking back at that time in my life, I can say that the secular music I was listening to and the music I was writing became a manifestation of who I was as a person. I was selfish, promiscuous, I used people, I was prideful and hungry for vain attention.
When God called me out of the sinful lifestyle I was living, I quickly realized that secular music had to be one of the first things to go because it was affecting me on a deep spiritual level.
