As disciples of Christ, we know that the Bible is a spiritually encrypted, complex, and undeniably beautiful gift from God. In it, we learn of God’s amazing love and grace toward humanity and how we are to live righteously before Him.
Our embracement of the gospel and determination to live in a way that prioritizes Godโs Word above all else separates Christians from the rest of the world.
However, since we are human beings, tainted by sin and limited in our understanding, we know God is the only One with perfect, unadulterated, holy, and just interpretation of all aspects of life.
Through Christโs atoning sacrifice on the cross, we are given the newness of life and the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, who leads us into all Truth when we seek God with all our hearts.
One of the most complicated challenges Iโve faced in my walk with God thus far is accepting that many disciples have varying interpretations of scriptural truths and doctrines.
As a babe in the faith, this caused me a lot of confusion because I realized the sheer number of spiritual discrepancies that existed in the church.
Sometimes, I still hear two opposing sides of a biblical argument, and aspects of both make sense to me. And Iโve realized that many of the arguments commonly debated within the body of Christ are not always black and white.
When God inspired me to create this site in 2023, I felt called but not entirely qualified, as I was still very young in my faith. I was grappling with the fear of accidentally misleading someone due to my lack of biblical understanding on specific topics.
And I also know that Satan would’ve preferred for me to remain silent and not create this platform for the furtherment of the gospel at all.
But over the years, Iโve learned to embrace that none of us have all the answers except God Himself.
We are imperfect human beings, on this journey of life trying to understand the depth of Godโs love, wisdom and grace together.
We come from different backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and our interpretation of the Word of God will not always be synonymous.
We all have pieces of the puzzle, but God is the only one with a perfect view of the whole picture.
I believe the writers helping me on this project are Spirit-filled men and women who love Christ as much as I do. Our unified goal is to create a resource that helps to edify the body of Christ while investigating different perspectives about various complex spiritual issues.
Not every opinion and conviction on this site is my own, but I am open to exploring differing perspectives that cannot easily be explained with a simple “yes” or “no” answer.
I am responsible for stewarding this ministry God has entrusted me with diligence and discernment. But just like no church will ever be perfect, neither will my blog and email list.
So, Iโm asking for your grace as I navigate these spiritual concepts myself. And I ask that you bring everything back to scripture, let His word be the ultimate authority, and let the Holy Spirit guide you always.
I have faith that as long as we are pursuing God with all our hearts, He will guide us into all Truth in His time. And thankfully, there’s grace for the things we will get wrong because we belong to Jesus Christ.
Please write to me if you ever feel the Spirit of God leading you to do so. I am so grateful weโre on this walk of faith together.
